On behalf of my brother Emil, his 21 year old daughter Sophie who the car was for and myself, we would like to thank Manor Hill Cars for making the daunting process of buying a car completely straightforward, painless and actually quite enjoyable.

From the moment we arrived at the showroom on Saturday morning we were made to feel very welcome and instantly felt the euphoria that we were in safe hands. After showing us the options in the price range and class we were looking for, the guys at Manor Hill Cars created a little production line of vehicles being pulled out of the stock and lined up out in the yard ready for us to test drive in sequence. We really had a thorough opportunity for both me and my brother to drive each car in turn for a good distance, which gave us a real idea of how each vehicle differed in its good or bad points. In fact we had so much fun driving them up and down and making our comments, we started to feel like Jeremy Clarkson on the Top Gear show, identifying and analysing each little issue narrowing the choice of six cars, down to the two finalists, a Volkswagen Polo and a Honda Jazz Sport.

After much deliberation, with my brother's wife joining in on the hands free, and much debate, we decided to go for the Honda, which not only had a superior drive and handling compared to the other cars, it was the most good looking, being in a vibrant metallic blue colour, with sport extras including climate control, funky seats and neat little spoilers on the front, rear and sides.

We bought the car on the spot and my brother drove it up to Yorkshire that afternoon with a free 7 day insurance policy to get him there safely. The car was presented to Sophie over dinner with the family and she was absolutely overcome with joy and happiness. She rang me immediately to say thank you for helping them find the car for which I would also like to pass many thanks across to Martin and Danny and say what a great company Manor Hill Cars is to do business with.

We will most certainly recommend them to all our friends and relatives in the future.

Danny made the whole process of buying a car a pleasant experience. No pushy sales talk, lots of information about the car you are buying (including internet history searches) and the chance to drive them round the farm for a bit to see how they handled. As we have now have a baby girl, finding out if we could fit the pushchair in the boot and stuff was very important to us and Danny was open to all this. We ended up buying at VW Golf 1.6 at a very reasonable price and in great nick - all cleaned and checked. We did have problems with a warning light at one point, due to a faulty switch, but this was quickly diagnosed and replaced within the warranty period. We also decided we did not want the alarm system on the car and Danny got a company to remove it at trade price - all done quickly and efficiently. I cannot recommend Manor Hill Cars highly enough - a thoroughly fair, non-pressurised and attentive service with cars that are thoroughly checked and cleaned before buying. Thanks a lot.

Not only did he give me very help full information on my particular situation to make things so much easier, he never pushed me into any sale like 99.9% of al other salesmen do just to 'seal the deal' to their own benefit. He never pushed me into anything. Also he put my car through MOT for another year and serviced it as well, with a full valet! He fixed the small things that needed doing on the MOT and even replaced the rear plate that was on the advisory notice.
